Jan Dieleman is President of Cargill Ocean Transportation, based in Geneva, Switzerland. He is also Cargill’s Trading Capability Leader and oversees Cargill’s Energy Procurement organization, serves as Country Lead for Switzerland and is a member of Cargill’s Risk Committee. As President of Ocean Transportation, Jan leads one of the world’s largest providers of bulk ocean shipping services. Across the maritime sector, Jan is a strong advocate for sustainable and responsible shipping, supporting efforts to reduce emissions, improve vessel performance and safety, and foster greater diversity. Jan serves as Chair of the Global Maritime Forum and as a Non-Executive Director of Seascale Energy. He is also a board member of SUISSENÉGOCE, the Swiss Commodity Trading Association, and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
